My issue with Horsepower.
What we call torque, should be horsepower. and horsepower should be called something else. if you have 1 horse, you can go X speed and pull Y load. if you have 1000 horses, you can only go as fast as the slowest horse. but you can pull about 1000 times as much weight (torque).Comment

with some of the non-technical car people, the measure of a vehicle's power is pretty much unit-less. when they read a horsepower rating, they are just looking at the number on a scale of 1 to 1000 and it means nothing else to them. lol.Comment
