When dad goes off on a story telling rampage, he always starts with a story about potato cannoning the police compound here when he was 21, dented all the vans apparently. Also there used to be a full blown cannabis plant growing outside the police station in the next town. Obviously it was not good as it was growing in cold british weather, but it was still funny to see it there.

I always lol when I watch the extreme chases shows in the UK and some guy runs from the cops, hits some cars, people, cats, etc.

Our cops are seriously rubbish. Most are not allowed to carry guns, or use their police cars to stop a car chase. Also they have to let pregnant women pee in their hats if asked. When I used to hang around in town, we'd all sit around the memorial and not be a bother at all, when there was a huge group of loud teenage boys on the steps the other side - we got moved on three of four times a day, and the rowdy boys were just ignored.
