Yea thats why. Those are analog ballasts. Usually you dont see this issue on Japanese cars. I have a bunch of trouble shooting stuff you could try, but you might get badly shocked. HID pack a punch. Theres a part called AR02D (I think) that might help you out. Its a relay box made for HID that are flickering. But you usually only need them on Euro cars or Chryslers after Daimler bought them out
