If it snowed here half of California would probably die. Which might not be a bad thing

        • Sup RT, I'm fine with winter driving, I just **** the things wiretapping does to your car (rust)

          • I think rusting is one of the worst problem of snowing, isn't it?

Here, you may find a 50 year old Beetle with its panels rustless.

Is there a way to overcome this? I mean, you guys don't wash your cars when it's like -10°C, do you? lol

              • Snow doesn't cause rust. Salt does.

In Ottawa they salt the roads even if there is like half an inch on the ground, and by salt I mean they just coat the entire road.

                      Yeah, I get it.
But if it wasn't for the snow, there would be no need to use salt.

Or people could just stop being retards. But that is much harder for the general public.

                          hahah That's for sure.

But how do you guys overcome this?
Because I assume it's impossible to wash a car in such weather conditions...

                          • It's not hard, you just have to man up and do it.

Salt is 100% necessary anyone who doesn't think so is foolish.

It sure is, my problem is the volume they use. They can also mix in some sand with a little salt. They just use salt solely in Ottawa.
