don't get me wrong, I agree with you - most "rats" would be a lot better if they weren't covered in things that ruin the lines.

Kielan, I'm guessing you're referring to proper old rat rod built in the back garden with what they had, and built to be fast, not pretty style.
Its not a new concept to me, pretty much every car my family has owned has had some element of handbuilt rat.
