Gonna heat it up, then use chemical remover while its still a little warm

Ah I was wondering just how much it would do, try extremely soapy water. Rinse after.

I've used WD40 before to clean sticker residue off a bike frame, try that.

They make rubber eraser wheels that go on the end of a drill to remove sticky shit off paint. It seems like it would scratch the shit out of your clearcoat but it doesn't really at all. I've used them before and they are a good investment.

Only other thing that would work good on paint is a plastic scraper or some adhesive remover. Just make sure it says it is safe for paint though...
