Now im just confused. On my tach, it only displays 7k and it has the red bars at 6500. Why would they set the redline at 7200 when the tach doesn't even read that high? Your thinking of the M3s I think, they redline at 7200 I believe.

Im positive it only reads up to 7k and it shows redline at a little before 6500, the TMS chip raises the redline to 7k tho (although I never hit it and I went to 7k a few times). Now the M3s show redline starting at 6500 and goes the whole way up to 8k but it hits rev limit at 7200rpm.
