high mileage bothers me a bit though, just because for another 1k or so I can get a motor from FPARTS with about half the mileage AND it will be covered for 6 months.

why? there is an ls1 at the vette factory in KY that has been running at redline since like 98. they only shut it down to do maintenance. mileage wouldnt bother me. and I dont think the fparts ones come with trans
