so the average amount of charge cycles on a macbook pro battery over 2 1/2 years is 300-400. i put mine through 824 over the course of a year and a half

i was chillen on the couch on sunday, and my battery went from 94 to 10 and a lil thing popped up that said service battery. so i went to the apple store today, hit up the genius bar, and they accessed some diagnostic stuff. he went into something about the battery. and he pointed at the number 842 and said charge cycles. and then proceeded to replace the battery for free.

Mine fuckin exploded and I went to the mac store and they were like yep that happened.... so you wanna buy another one? I was like yeah I guess I have to and I think it was like $50-$100 I don't really remember lol
