Wow, I just heard it on the Jackie and Bender show on 106.1 this morning driving to school. First thing after I got into class was to open my laptop and google for it... haha..
Btw, update about my Cosworth: I'm going to be turning it into a track car. Since I don't want to buy/don't have the desire for any other car right now.
My friend and I are going to seam weld the whole chassis, and tube frame reinforce critical points (only under the hood and in the trunk, keeping the cage out of the interior) to run a race spec coilover suspension then reassemble my interior sans the sound deadening so it looks good (my interior is largely foam anyways, so I wouldn't benefit that much from stripping it out, I can hold my rear seats under one of my arms no problem).
Hmm? I thought you were the one who said that I should drift the Cosworth? And besides, it's going to look stock and feel stock, just peppy with megasquirt EFI, velocity trumpets, ITB and race port and race coilovers.
I was considering an E30 because there was a "coilover" kit made for the car, but it's not a real coilover setup. And to run real coilovers on any car and for it to work properly, you need to reinforce the chassis anyways so it's the same amount of work on any car, it's just that my rear strut tunnel is super tiny, so I need to cut away sheet metal from inside the trunk to make room for threaded spring perches and springs.
And I wonder how this guy drove with a halfcage in his car.
I would be nervous about smashing my temple against the B pillar if I get T-boned in an intersection (being that it's on a daily drive and I wouldn't have my helmet on...).
And if you want to buy my car, it will be 8.5k... Lol...
I'm basically trying to be just like Ueo with his Corolla...
Now, the latest JDM tuning information can be obtained! At last, the very first world portal site dedicated to the JDM car tuning culture is here, JDM Option International.
So instead of being like everyone buying an easy to build Silvia with a turbocharger, I would drive my NA 16v with a few racing preparations.
my b. Whatever I posted was not old news. It was a Party Bus for the first time here in El Paso :P
