I've been going to auto school for 3 years. I know what being low is eventually going to do to the underbody of the car. Not to mention cv joints, endless bushings, suspension geometry, and things of that nature. Its a sacrifice. I like to keep my car nice, but I'm not afraid to abuse it some to be low. This goes whether I drive a Kia, or something better, its just something I am into.
Like you said, different people have different opinions.
