Mac's are okay
just know that:
alot of games don't come out for mac
alot of apps won't work with mac (if all you need is office then don't worry)
the apps that do work are usually more expensive
there IS a learning curve, but you'd probably get used to it in a few months
they are a hell of a lot more money, mac books START at 1k
