I'm quite happy my 50mm isn't back focusing, turns out because the filter had so many waterspots on it, (I shot in the snow a few weeks back), it couldn't clearly focus so my shots were always soft, but now I cleaned it, and all is well in the world once again.

I got my new filter today The Sony 50mm f1.4 has back focusing problems apparently. Glad i chose the f1.8
