It's kinda in a class of it's own. It's a huge map (Hawaii), your race in events held around the map, but the whole time the world is shared by everyone else playing the game. So you will be sharing the roads with others.
You own mansions, customize your character, your cars, and your house. It's all about racing, and car collecting.

wtf? So you have a house, and can modify it? Can you have like free runs and cruise around and shit in all your baller cars?

Are the mods basic like GT5? or are they a little more in detail? what are the graphics like?

Yeah, you can just cruise about and shit. Mods, in the old game were pretty simple. Just engine upgrades etc. You can change interior colours before buying the car and stuff
