on the LS2, wont you have to fab brackets to mount the alternator in a different location? i remember that its mounted it a low fucked up spot in that motor, and it doesnt fit well into most jdm chassis

That could be easily re mounted with a bracket....

i know on the lsx swap we're doing, we came across that issue. thats why we got an ls1 from a gto. its still got everything in the ideal location for jdm chassis, but has the ls6 intake manifold already on it.
