If it weren't for bassnectar dubstep wouldn't be where it is.

This is the truth. I don't really like bassnectar in the fact that his music isn't the greatest and is sorta veering from the lines of dubstep, but he has most DEFINITELY brought the fucking masses, which is good.... but artists like him can kill a scene. he is a great dj live though.

lol i have alot of dj friend who say it, mainly just cause the originallity side of it has sorta died... when bassnectar came around and brought out all the frat boiz, and hippies, it killed alot of people's love for the scene.
