        My friend is the same way, but he wears contacts, but they aren't made of silicon, I can try and find out what they are for you if you want?

        I both ski and board. And skiing IMO (keep in mind I have done both for a while) is much harder than boarding especially to learn. In my second season of boarding I was very confident on the board, and pretty good at it, I could slide boxes and do little 180's with relative ease. Skiing is much more difficult IMO. Took a long time to really develop a style, to really get good form is crucial to how well you do, its not easy to just get on and go, it will take a while. But once you get good at it, I think its a lot more fun than boarding (and you don't need to do your bindings up everytime you get off the lift.
