Those are both very good pictures. Was any editing done? Maybe that's the difference? The top has more detail, albeit it's definitely brighter

Yeah both Charlie and I both have very different editing styles. He shot his at a much higher f/ than I did, so he has a larger DoF, where as mine was taken at a much lower f/.
