alright, so. there's two bare bulbs (actual strobes) camera left and camera right. the one camera right is behind her ever so slightly and then i believe there's a softbox above camera left to fill in everything and light her face.

the fill is either a large softbox or a beauty dish.


that's my guess. does it make sense?

No one cares how it's lit, because she's way too hot to think about anything else than her beauty.

Yeah, I guess that makes sense. Some sort of sequential lighting, with a mix of timing and and good equipment.

The lights undoubtedly fired at the same time, most likely triggered via pocket wizards or cybersyncs. I really have no idea what camera would have taken this.

Im shooting in a black studio right now with 3 profoto heads, d4 power pack, nikon d2xs, 85 1.4 and a 24-70 2.8
im gonna run down stairs to the cage and grab a 135mm i think.

I'm more of a Nikon guy. The things I see with the Canon's always seem slightly more "washed" or "cartoon" like to me is I guess the best way I can describe it. The Nikon's seem to be a slightly darker picture, but I seem to think (or I personally see) see more detail. Anyone else? Or am I just completely out of my mind and have the eyesight of Ray Charles?
