Pretty much competing with Midas, Meineke's, SuperLube, and all the other franchises if you go that route. Unless you have a primo location.

There is nothing like that within an hour from where I live. Lots of small garages that are open from 9-5 where you already have to have your car scheduled for service.

Even if it was an internet cafe. Bring your laptop and enjoy coffee, doughnuts, pastries, and even hang out with friend while your car gets brakes.

I think a Cafe would be prime. Have like a grill and make burgers and stuff, do stuff like that.

But anyways, you should do more research into how a service department is run, as well as into how a restaurant is run, then revisit your idea.

I work at a restaurant so I have a pretty good idea how that goes. I go to school for autobody so I have a little bit of an idea of how a shop is run too. I would just need to make a business plan for each and then try and splice them together.
