I would advise against getting a van if you plan to bag it in the future... You will have next to no space in it to bag it/sleep in it.

Hiace's have a solid diff, you have to notch the chassis, and the diff will be coming up onto the floor, aswell as the tail shaft and fourlink.
If you arent going to notch the chassis, or were planning on running leaf springs and doing a bag over diff set up, you're a moron.

it wouldn't be any more work then say dropping a hilux, i've seen how much it intrudes into the chassis, so i recon it could still work, since the bed isn't going to be sitting on the floor, it will be elevated 40-50cmsDrinking Enthusiast with a Car Problem

hmm well bagging would be the last thing on my list i'd say, coz its rather expensive
