Yeah, I've been going over the cost/power and it comes out ahead of an LSX swap
I mean its about 100 pounds lighter, couple grand cheaper, and it makes about 20-60 less HP depending on which LSX motor you compare it too.
Also it seems like the kits that are out for the VQ are cheaper than the ones for the LSX.
Unfortunately there aren't many VQ kits, they are incomplete (you have to shop around to get everything you need), and I can't seem to find any reviews of the ones that are out.

I've been seeing a few VQ swap threads on zilvia recently, have you checked there?

Any bike fags in here? I stole a Bianchi.... how hard would it be to disassemble and repaint the frame? Any special tools needed or just hand tools?

I know some stuff about bikes considering I ride BMX...but I don't know alot about those kind of you bikes. I would say just hand tools.
