Any of those 3.
It created a very stressful and detrimental rift between traditional islam and the Nation of islam. Especially when Sunni clerics were very vocal that the nation of islam was not true islam and some sort of perversion of the quran. It greatly weakened any credibility Farrakhan had and in turn pushed the NOI to becoming more of a fringe radical group. Especially since Farrakhan preached a sort of reverse racism and tried promoting violence to further his cause.
