I haven't bought an impact yet because I am on the fence if I should get a cordless or a pneumatic one. I was just looking at specs, and the cordless ones are damn good.

the cordless is awesome. especially for what i do, its difficult with an air line.

The 18 volt cordless is 400 ft lb tightening torque and 620 ft lb breakaway torque. I think that is enough for most jobs. I sucks that it is $500 though.
