Ok so apparently that means Japanese high school? Here in America we call that 10th grade or Sophmores, second graders are like 8 year olds here which is why that was so funny.... But since they are sophmores thats not funny at all.

Sorry JHS stands for JUNIOR high school. (but yes it's in Japan)
and they did it last year so they were 1st year JHS (year 7 in Australia). they were like 12-13yo maybe when they did it?

In Australia grades 7-12 are just called high school.

But in Japan 7-9 are junior high school and 10-12 are high school. I thought it was the same in the US, but obviously not?
