aren't slant lips usually for stepping up another inch? for example, a stepped lip 17" rs would use 16" faces while a slant lip 17" rs would use 15" faces (**** that ish). I know there are exceptions to both but I thought that's how it typically worked

178s are step lip.

Duder, flat caps and step lips. Get them from that dude with the red z. Not th paper thin Rotiform joints.

15's be too small right?

Yeah I barely pulled off 15's without BWS! lol I would like 16's for now and hope to tuck them one day! with the help of BWS lol and maybe some flat type oil pans lol

There's a cheap set on here that need refinishing. You can run oz vega barrels and make them 16's btw.

I seen those! And my buddy in Croatia (home) sells wheels threw here all the time I might hit him up next time I have money for a calling card! lol
