The Z was in AZ up intil 5 years ago, so the interior and mechanicals were good and rust free but the paint was hosed. The owner befor me got it painted a Maaco an horrible yellow. I got it painted Blue and silver by a guy who painted my car so badly that the paint peeled 4 months after and then skipped out of town with 800 of my money and 1500 of my GF's money. We had our cars in the shop at the same time and he left her Bug out completely stripped and sanded down in the rain for 3 days. We lost in court, but luckily I got my tax return and paid for hers to get finished. This year it's my turn to get a new paint job.
