We've looked at 6? since December. It's fucking impossible to find what I want out here, everyone is content with living in fucking suburbia with less than an acre of land. And those with property are shacks, or they want some unreal number.

I'm trying so desperately to keep my $150-160k budget in mind, but fuck.

over here u can input everything, rooms, land, neighbourhood/city, so in your search u eliminate a lot

they even send out mails, with houses that "might" interest you

In preparation for my full-shaven interview face, I chopped most of my beard off this morning, now I'm rocking a horseshoe and some chops. I wish I could keep it like this.

And Chris, $150k-$160k would get you a great apartment in a terribly undesirable part of Chicago, or half an apartment anywhere else in Cook County. So, don't move here. haha

That's the thing, I've gone through almost every site and used the filters. I've even left out a ton of filters that I would really really like, and still come up with nothing.

The housing market is so fucking hot right now that everything gets bought up in a matter of hours, or it's listed forever because people are too stupid to take a good offer.
