Pretty much, Eric Bana - (aka Incredible Hulk and bad ass from Star Trek) is a hard core race and car fan. Owned a GT Ford Falcon since he was 15 or something, been racing with it.. Spoilers, but he writes it off and rebuilds it from the ground up.

Its his story about how he believes (rightfully in my opinion) that cars are more important then they are made out.. that they can transcend just bits of metal to have an individual personality.
