Last night, I definitely pulled the idiot card out.

GF got done dogsitting early, while I was still halfway to the city from work. She thought I was going to pick her up at the Waldorf Astoria (where she was dogsitting). I thought she was going to meet me back at her place. I get to her apartment, get inside, she's not there. Then she texts me wondering where I am.

The two places (Waldorf and her apt.) are 25 minutes apart. She was waiting outside at the Waldorf for me, in 30-degree weather, for about half an hour. She ended up taking a cab and hanging up on me.

In that 25 minutes, I busted ass around the neighborhood and did the following: Bought two 6-packs of Revolution (Anti-Hero IPA and the Witbier one) and some super-soft Mrs. Field's cookies. Then I drew her a toasty warm bath, cleaned her entire bathroom and lit some candles. She got home, saw all that, and wasn't mad anymore.
