Delrin is great to work with. practically self lubricating. if you machine it beware as it deforms under machining, not bad though you just have to make sure to do a spring cut at the end.

Sounds like you need a benchtop lathe and mill setup.

I went to the headquarters of these guys years ago. Good stuff then. My dads full size mill is good to half of a thousandth. Perfectly acceptable for bushings.
