But there's the preparation involved in actually stripping the car down to that point as well. I'd want to drift it, but I don't think the S14 would be intended for that. Not that I'm trying to be different, but you always see S-chassis cars being drifted. Not that that's a bad thing, but I'd actually think it would be refreshing to see an S-chassis car being driven, not abused, you know. I'd love to be the owner of that car.
    Yeah pretty much just saying that if you were to restore one from a ground up, it would not take more than a month, assuming you can afford the parts.

    There are plenty of S-chassis getting drifted, circuit raced and time attack raced and street car.

    I just don't think I would be able to own a full stock car and anything modified would always get defects from police.

        No man, you're not understanding it. It wouldn't be fully stock, infact, a lot of the stuff I plan to do would involve modifying the car, but taking a minimalist approach. For me, it would probably take a lot longer than a month man, lol wtf? Completely rebuilt engine, completely stripped down car, rebuilt interior, wire tucking, etc. As I said, it would be thoroughly thought out, and you can't just complete a car in a month. There would be a lot of research involved, and you gotta account for events the go on in life as well.

            Neil from Primal completed his 180 in 3 weeks

            The engine rebuild would take a bit of time, but yeah it sounded like you just wanted to do a restoration on the car, so just restoring to stock.

                I seen his car and thought "what the actual fuck?" He did mention that he had multiple people help him complete that car, but his approach would probably vary a lot from mine.

                That's the whole idea. I'm not just gonna jump into the project without knowing how I'm going to execute things.

                  Just to make sure I'm getting it 100%.

                  You want to restore a S14 to factory and have some minor modifications done to it while staying as original as possible?

                  But ether way I think it will be good to see a S14 that isn't thrashed like the majority of them

                      Mmm, close. Factory in terms of the engine - no engine conversions. But not completely factory. I would be installing a kit, the Origin Stylish Kit looks pretty good. Wheels, lowering, but factory in the sense that they would be no rust, no dents, no imperfections, but still minimalistic. No crazy stickers, you know.

                        RB26 swap and try and make it look as factory as possible.

                          Haha, I could do that. I thought it was a cool idea to unlock some of the potential of the SR20, but if I were to consider engine swapping, I'd want it to be within the same family. Don't get me wrong, I'm not a purist, I just think the idea of having an S14 that stays true to the manufacturer is cool.

                            SR20 = Nissan RB26 = Nissan.

                                depends on the kit imo
