From my experience, they'll get that fucking car up on a flatbed. One way or another but it's gonna get up there.

Don't have to get towed, they can tell you that you can not drive the car and will have to get towed, but you don't have to use a tow truck, you can organise your own tow on a trailer or etc.

Or if you are like me you just carry C spanners, jack and lots of blocks of wood in the car for ramps, it saved me many times
