Here in Vic you just don't see that, most people are too scared to touch panels(me including)
I need a track only car, so then i wouldn't care about panels, so I can practice tandems door to door, not 5m behind the guy in front lol
The reason i think alot of Vic people are scared because most of their cars are their daily driver or a car they want to keep on the road for weekends.
But having a track only car would be good.
I've been tempted to buy a R31 shell for a track car since I have a near full drive train in the shed.

I'm the only guy in vic who drives his car to the track, everyone else tows their cars up.
So for me it is kinda double the risk since i also have to drive home.
But i know guys who drive closer tandems on the street than they do on the track.
ie. we have a small group of friends who drift hills often and they drive pretty close. My friend broke his side mirror close lol
