Thinking of widening a set of wheels... not sure what specs to go though since i don't even have a car for those wheels...

Originally they are 15x6.5 +15

Possible specs to make are

15x8 -4
15x8.5 -10
15x9 -16
15x9.5 -23
15x10 -29

The price of widening them is the same no matter what specs I go for, thats why hereby lays the dilemma of picking good specs.

I'm thinking make them 9/10s or 9.5/10s since those specs would fit of most cars with flares

15x10 -29. You know you want an old school JDM that will fit these.

Its a terrible idea. They will give up after 1 year maybe 2.
