Just had a giant project I was working on pulled out from under my feet. Annoying seeing as to how I've been working on it non-stop for the last two days. Now one guy wants to utilize an old design and just "retrofit" it.

On the bright side, a lot less work and a lot less responsibility for me. On the downside, I just wasted two days of hard work and creative design. On the bright side again, I got paid for it anyway.

Assault weapons are one of things that while they are awesome and cool to own, it's really difficult to justify.

They are ridiculously fun to shoot though. I've shot an AR and an SKS. Its amazing how many rounds you can put down a shooting range in a small amount of time.

Assault weapons are already banned. A gun or rifle available now is a semi auto. Most handguns are assult weapons with that definition. As long as the criminals can buy these guns, so will I.

The term "assault rifle" is such a bastardized term that it makes me fucking crazy. I have a semi-auto rifle that happens to shoot a 7.62x39 round, is semi-automatic, and happens to look like something they use in Africa to lead rebellions. Does that make it an "assault rifle"?
