The thing I find fantastic about Top Gear UK is that you don't really have to be a car person to really enjoy the show. The chemistry between Clarkson, Hammond, and Captain Slow is just pure entertainment even without all of their car knowledge. Not to mention the ridiculous challenges they have along with their constant light hearted bickering really make it fun to watch.

Clarkson is over the top with how he feels about Mercedes. Same with Hammond and his Porsche fetish. The difference? The cars they are emphatic about are actually good cars. Explain to me why Hammond shouldn't love the GT3RS. What about Clarkson's obsession with high-horsepower, uncontrollable Mercedes? Very rarely do they have misinformation and normally Captain Slow corrects them or just goes on one of his never-ending knowledge rants.

Are you starting to see why Rutledge Wood is a worthless shithead on that show that adds no value? I don't want to watch a show like Top Gear to see one host constantly talk about how fantastic a Jetta is.

I don't like high end cars....I'd glady take a Lada 2107 over a GT3RS any day.

You don't get it. I don't care what his car history is. He presents information in some of the most mis-informed fanboy-ish ways possible and most of the comments he makes make him look retarded. I don't give a shit if he's been commentating on Nascar for years now. His "episode" was some of the worst footage Top Gear as a brand has put on television.

You don't understand- most Americans are too stupid to comprehend what cars are all about, so they rely on basic information and simple broadcasting. I like that the US version tests and shows cars/trucks that WE all use here, so it's fairly relateable.

That said, UK crew has far better chemistry and are much more entertaining.

Nice choices both. I'd say take the GS for the back doors, but I'm just more partial to that body style. I'll keep my eyes open.
