No, according to the market they are most certainly worth that much.

In reality, they are awesome cars worth 10k less than that. The way the market is though, most people wouldn't understand that.

I know, that's the point.
The dealer should be asking the most for a used car. They are out to make the most profit. They are legally obligated to stand behind the car they sell (for at least 6 months in most states). And they offer financing for any car they sell regardless of year.
