    That spot happened to be directly on top of the TPM sensor. It broke the thing in half.

    Finally got around to replacing it today, over two full years later.

    I'll still check my pressures at the gas station. The Speedway by me has an auto-air-machine that gets set to a certain PSI (your choosing, even allows 55+ psi for small spares), then all you have to do is move the air hose between tires, and the machine will fill to the correct level and beep when it's done. Fucking sorcery.

    That's how our Shell stations operate their air machines. I love it.
