what do you do for work?

I do behind the scenes programming for a phone company. We have service in close to 20 states and I work our west coast properties. Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, and a little part of Montana.

Its a pretty interesting job. Never knew how much work went into providing phone service.

I don't directly work for them, I work for a consulting company, but my current project is at the Australias biggest Phone/Internet/Pay TV provider.

IT consulting

On this project I'm working with Oracle, IBM DatasStage, Control-M and BI

On other projects worked with .Net, VB and other stuff

I work with all our switches.

DMS 100, DMS 10, GTD5, 5ESS, and DCO.

Our records keeping system is called DPI.

Our HSI equipment consists of Adtran's, Alcatel's, and Calix's.
