What the hell ever happened to cable clutch's anyways?

First standard car I drove had a cable clutch. I was 17 at the time and it felt like my leg was going to fall off after driving. lol (Car was a 94 Mustang GT 5.0)

Honda has it, can't feel the clutch at all.

Then again you can't in my car either. Very very lightly tap the gas then let off the clutch quickly. If you let off at all too late, or give it a tiny bit too much throttle the wheels spin.

Maybe it was just that car but I actually liked having some resistance to the pedal. I've driven some older trucks that were like that too.

i think it depends on the car, or the slave actually. My pedal is WAY stiffer with the 1jz in there

No that's how my car was before the swap, LOVED it. But more resistance? Most people couldn't even depress the clutch on my car, and the Honda feels like there's nothing connected to it... Odd.
