You guys probably don't give two shits about the NBA, but I have to say this.

Why would a player that literally won sixth man of the year last year for the team that lost in the Finals turn down an offer for $4.5 million less than his max? So now he plays for a rebuilding team instead of a real contender. I don't see what advantage he gained. What can $60 million buy you that $55.5 million couldn't?

star of rebuilding team would mean any promotional/advertising stuff would feature him=more than the 4.5 million he turned down?
