TL's are a great example for this. They can look awesome and I didn't realize it until I read this just now but I don't think any less of them as VIP cars just because they are FWD. To me a VIP car is something big bodied with luxurious interior, ridiculously big (usually full faced) wheels, and the cars are generally from a Japanese manufacturer.

Well TLs are not that big, and their stock interiors are only ok in terms of luxury, but I think the body style lends itself to the VIP style, and they have the ability to look awesome, and most fender work that I've seen done to them even though in various styles, looks incredible, a very malleable platform.

Guess I kind of contradicted myself there. To be fair I have never been inside of a TL, they still aren't that big though.

I think of a honda accord regardless of how a tl is done. TL how can I put it? seems to have too much rake in it's design? like a rsx sedan? acura/honda legend and RL can pull it off though imo

I love old Nissan's so much! Best of all, I could get the car for under $500. Cracked windshield and minor cosmetic damage but nothing you can't replace or fix.
