Exactly. As long as you don't advertise something contrary, the buyer is always the one who is in charge for asking. On the e30 forum I'm a member of, a guy bought a pair of DIRT cheap fogs off another well known member who just said, "pair of non cracked, late model fogs- $40". This guy was banned on 3 different accounts and finally ip banned because he kept making threads to complain/ demand his money back because they didn't work. Never asked any questions or anything before he bought them.
