Fucking car, after replacing the fuel pump and the gasket, still getting a leak when the tank is filled more than 1/2 way. I have no idea what it could be, the gasket is seated correctly, I tighten the lock ring down enough. I don't get it. What the fuck is going on? Is there a possibility that there is a crack somewhere? (Seems like a HUGE leak for a little crack). I don't get it.

Yeah dude could be your tank has a crack or something. See if you can drop it just a bit and get a look around.
They're the worst thing to replace on an E46, a motor swap would be easier lol.
