Onkyo has some awesome Pre-packaged systems with an usb, Ipod remote and a Kat-5 cable for Pandora, ect..

We have installed a few of these and find the speakers and sub to be top notch and very well balanced with the amp. Plus I find there setup and menus are very straight forward and easy to under stand, were other receivers have setup menus that make you want to end your life..

There is a list of the pre-packages systems in Canadian dollars. Up in the top right you can pick your country and take a look at your prices.

My old man has been installing home entrainment systems for the last 40 years, and I started helping him when I was about 8. We have 2 Onkyo receivers that power the back round systems at our cottage, they have been running 24-7 for the last 20 years. No problems with any of them.

I would start with a good reciever. I have a pioneer one which is great. I can go up to 8.1 surround I believe. From there get a set of good speakers and sub. Find an amp for your sub and Bam don on a budget that way
