I've tried CPLs ***** em, the only reason I'd buy a filter is an ND filter so I can shoot wideopen even in the midday sun.

Twenty bucks, almost worth it to fuck around with.
Agreed about CPL's though, Bought one to chuck in the bag in case. ND seems to have more of an argument for itself though.
