Nah easily a 10.5. There's way more room up front than people think. I think mostly because e36s are so commonly fitted that people just go online and borrow other e36 specs while few people take the time to actually actually measure. Ive checked and a 10.5 on mildly rolled fenders is not an issue. On my ASTs, with shorter springs you can spin the collars up and gain even more room. My next set up will be square 10.5j minimum.
Good to know, I know 8.5 et13 is standard "BF.C style aggressive" fitment, and usually only see people doing a 9" or 9.5" up front, so just assumed inner clearance was a bit lacking. Been a few years since I had my e36s and never did any measurements on them, nor have I looked into it elsewhere.
I mean if you are going to spend the money on a brand new car, to get brand new OEM parts, I am willing to bet you could have just bought the car you were converting to, for nearly the same price.
TTI6 is rad, don't get me wrong, but the TTV8, swoon.
