My plan is to buy a nice house with decent lot of land for cheap because it needs updating etc.... and create a ballin ass house for significantly cheaper than just buying one that's already nice. (I'm a contractor.) Live in it for 5-10 years or more until the market rises or I get tired of it.... and sell it for a shit ton more than I have into it. Then build something new from scratch.

I got home from the interview and as soon as I put my phone down I got a voicemail from the company. Called them back, accepted the verbal offer, drug test tomorrow, all is well.

Working at a phone company. Starting out in the office with hopes to work my way into a tech position. Pay is ok, I get a raise every 6 months, and I get benefits. My cousin is a tech at the same phone company and makes $35 an hour. I'll be starting out at $13 and change and after 4 years if I'm still in the same position I'll be making over $22 an hour.

Not bad for around here.
