I'd be crawling under it to see lol.
I know that you know your shit, but here is what I would look for:
-Subframe rust.
-Brake/fuel line rust
-Rockers
-Bottoms of the doors, if there is weather stripping, lift it up to see if there is any rust starting underneath it.
-Rear quarters where the bumper meets the wheel wells.
That's just rust type stuff I would look for, but I'd also:
-Look around the door handles for tape marks from painting.
-Open the hood and look at the fender/hood bolts to see if they have been wrenched on.
-Also door hinge bolts, etc.
I know you're looking at a car with 170k on it, but looking it over real good will give you an idea how rough of a life its had.
I want some nice 16's for dirt cheap to re barrel to 17. I think I can get something nice for 5-600 and then spend 1400 to re barrel cause I'm an idiot.
I got some RS' for you, 5x120. Just need lips and barrels.
